Field Trips
We love hosting school groups! For schools in the Tulsa, Jenks, and Union districts, all field trips are offered at no charge. For schools outside of those districts, there is a fee of $2/student for General Discovery and Riddle of the Woods.
Whichever type of tour is the best fit for your group, we ask that you call us to schedule your field trip at least 2 weeks in advance. Even if you opt for a self-guided tour, it will help us to know your plans in advance.
General Discovery
The General Discovery Tour is great for all ages. Dividing up into small groups of 6-10 allows more time and space for each individual student to explore, wonder, question and discover whatever the trails have to reveal that day.
Groups are led by trained and experienced volunteer naturalists or Oxley staff.
Riddle of the Woods
Self-guided
Some teachers and professors love bringing their students to Oxley to explore the trails and Nature Center on their own. If this is the best option for you, please read the tips below and give us a call to let us know your plans.
