Junior Naturalists
Ages 8-12 years
Two Sessions Available, Either the Second or Fourth Saturday monthly
One Saturday per month | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Must commit to 9-month program, September 2022 - May 2023
Through hands-on learning experiences and hikes along the trails, we hope to nurture a sense of wonder about the natural world and teach children to appreciate, protect, and preserve our unique and diverse wildlife and their habitats.
Regular Cost:
$100 for program or $10 per session
For ONCA Members:
$50 for program or $5 per session

Seedlings
Ages 1-5 + Caregiver
2nd Tuesday of every month (except June, July, and August) and a second one the Friday following the second Tuesday, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Bring your little ones for a fun time outside or natural craft activity. Registration is required Free for Members, Non-members $5 per session.
Small, guided groups explore the Nature Center by night, without flashlights, learning to use senses other than sight. Preregistration required. $3 for members, $5 for non-members.
An Oxley staff member will lead a bird walk every month for all ages. Beginners are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them, and meet at the Nature Center.
Do you want to develop your perception and ability to draw and paint nature? Oxley Nature Center is now offering a monthly nature sketching group, meeting on the second Saturday of each month in Spring and Summer.
Oxley Nature Center offers a rich resource for nature related studies. Several schools and higher institutions use this area for a variety of studies. Check the Oxley Calendar for upcoming lectures being presented throughout the year..
All ages and skill levels welcome. Bring your own binoculars if you have them, but Tulsa Audubon has binoculars to loan for the morning. Kids age 10 and under should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
